Alec Glasser
Board Member

Alec Glasser is a member of the Board of Directors of the Band of Brothers Foundation. He was born and raised in New York City, New York, but has been a long time resident in Orange County, California.

Alec started his professional career as an attorney with a major regional law firm, where he specialized in securities and real estate law. Thereafter, he became a member of the faculty of the University of Southern California Law Center and, in addition to teaching responsibilities, his duties included providing a wide range of legal services to the Conference of California Judges, the association of all trial judges throughout the state. Several years later, Alec returned to private practice, but his entrepreneurial nature eventually brought him to form his own real estate investment and development firm. Over the years, his company and its affiliates sponsored numerous private and public real estate partnerships investing in many different types of commercial and multi-family real estate ventures; organized and directed an investment banking network generating significant capital for real estate investment and development projects; designed and implemented real estate investment programs for over 50,000 savings and loan depositors; and, engaged in numerous real estate joint venture projects with banks and other institutional investors.

Throughout his life, Alec has learned the importance of achieving a balance between receiving and giving back to others. In this context, he views his role in the Band of Brothers Foundation as an important opportunity to "pay forward" some of the benefits which he is grateful for in his own life. This important lesson was inspired in part by his extensive travels and experience with other cultures throughout the world, especially the plight of children in "third world" countries. He focuses his Band of Brothers Foundation efforts on both fund raising and finding new opportunities to provide facilities and support which improve the safety and lives of children in these cultures.
