Grassroots Trends
We support Social Entrepreneurs and their grassroots projects. In the past three decades, the number of these new global citizens, led by advances in technology, has grown exponentially. Rather than leave societal needs for the government or business sectors to address, today’s social entrepreneurs create innovative solutions, deliver extraordinary results, and improve the lives of millions of people without the delays of bureaucracy.

Choosing Our Children’s Projects:
Our project selection starts with our network of grassroots social entrepreneurs. We look for caring, well organized leadership and an interesting business plan that has potential for a high impact long term result for the children. The leadership needs to be open to working with Americans and letting us track the results of our support at a grassroots level. Our Board conducts thorough investigations of any potential partner we consider supporting by meeting personally with their Directors and speaking with their referral sources.
A New Type of Philanthropy:
This is not your typical black tie charity group. We believe philanthropy should be engaging and part of an awareness building life adventure. It is our mission to enhance the philanthropy experience of all members.
An Open Source Charity Organization:
We intend to be an open source organization allowing active members to take on projects and call them their own. It is difficult and time consuming to build a 501c3 non-profit. We are willing to open our web platform, money raising capabilities and marketing materials to all approved active members who want to form their own branch of Band of Brothers.
Internet Community Platform:
The goal of our community platform is to match specific unique grassroots projects with interested world citizen investors, and to convey project information using improving internet technology and rich and dynamic media, such as photos and video.
Community Building and Fund Raising:
We will build our new donor/members though personal relationships and referrals, private fund raisers such as concerts and events and through the internet.
