Yes. All of your contributions to Band of Brothers Foundation are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.

  • Band of Brothers is the antithesis of the “black-tie ballroom charity”. We are a small, roll-up-sleeves/get-hands-dirty, band of global adventurers.

  • We leverage not just our ability to fund charitable missions, but the skills, resources, knowledge, and hands-on capabilities of our members.

  • We strive to make philanthropy very meaningful and adventurous..

  • Our target focus is grassroots projects where funds go directly to children and families in developing nations.

  • All missions provide the option for active and dedicated members to visit the children we support, and for less active members to see more detailed information on where their money goes.

  • We are religious-neutral; our efforts and decisions are driven by caring for children and not by the religion.

The name was inspired by the 101st Airborne troopers, referred to as a "band of brothers" because of their camaraderie, unwavering focus on missions, and teamwork during WWII. The men hailed from a variety of different backgrounds, political parties, religions, and professions—representing accountants, lawyers, artists, musicians, writers, athletes, scientists, mathematicians, architects, and builders.

All donations are accounted for by project and tracked ensuring that donations match to specific projects.

Our business plan is to create solutions for the following problems:

Most successful professionals in the USA would be willing to be heroes to threatened children if they only knew how to make it happen. There are millions of small high impact grassroots opportunities to save and support children, but they have been hard to find and then logistically difficult to fund.

Build a community of modern day explorers willing to do their part to support a network of grassroots projects to protect and support children around the world.

Small donors don’t have a large enough donation or a giving track record to be noticed by a charity organization. Very large donors are usually catered to by charities and will be provided a customized and catered charity experience with multimedia reports and an option to visit if they stay actively involved.

Pool donor resources and pre arrange with our joint venture charity partners the highest level of interactive giving experience for our donors, their families or their friends.

Unless you are very wealthy, most people don’t have access to high impact, interesting and very meaningful grassroots projects where they can track the progress of their donation.

Develop a pipeline of high impact grassroots projects, a system to screen for the best opportunities and listen to our community to provide the greatest opportunity for adding meaning to our donor/member lives.

Traditional black tie money raising campaigns or giving opportunities leave you disconnected from the real meaningful experience of seeing and interacting with the person you will help.

Turn giving into a life experience. Focus on finding children’s projects that can be interactive and set up interesting fund raising events such as concerts or internet raises. Find innovative ways to make the giving experience a more interesting, adventurous and valuable life altering experiences.

For busy professionals to start a 501c3, then run it by finding and coordinating projects, and then raising money, would be very time consuming.

Share Band of Brothers’ marketing, fund raising, screening, operating and giving platform with other like-minded professionals who also want to take ownership of grassroots project.
